Welcome to my Wambana Blog
Wambana is a program run by Prince Alfred College for the year 9 students. Wambana has four staff members managing Wambana who include Mr Hobbs, "Moff", Beardy and Paul. The staff at wambana help the students advance in there personal development of independence. We spend 4 days sleeping in tents during the cycle tour where we ride a total of around 130km over the 3 days. We then move into the Wadali's in which we live independently in sixes and do all the daily choirs of the household and if we dont we get points each day if we lose all our points we sleep on the verandahi or in a tent for up to 7 days. Welcome to my blog who ever is reading this use the tabs on the right to get to the right posts. The name Wardli comes from the local aboriginal word meaning dwelling. I am living in my wadali with Harrison Page, Ned Murdoch, Jake Gurke and Alex Mitolo. I hope to experience many new experiences during my time at wambana, which include learning new dishes that i can make at home, Learn how to efficently manage my time between cleaning and having fun and finally learning to be tidy in a shared house with everything in the right place.

P.S. I have my own blog, that you would probably find very boring, but it's called Frog, Goose & Bear (after the kids nicknames) so that's why this comment will probably be posted with that name.
I look forward to trying one of your home cooked meals - or a dessert maybe! We can have 'Tom's Cafe' on our next holiday!
ReplyDeleteI also look forward to hearing more about what you are doing. Sounds like a great time away.
